Next Tuesday, we will be using the coronavirus genome sequence as a template for writing midi files in Python. Come on by to learn a bit about the MIDI protocol, python programming, and maybe even some biology!

For those interested in attending this workshop, please complete the following:
- download the latest version of python: https://www.python.org/downloads/
- getting a text editor will be helpful, we’ll be using Sublime: https://www.sublimetext.com/3
- install the mido python library for writing midi files:
- type pip install mido into your command prompt (windows users) / terminal (mac users)
