Hey everyone,
We were happy to host NUSound founder Victoria Suha this past Tuesday as she returned to give a presentation on her post-grad experiences in audio engineering! There was pizza, free Sonos swag, and a raffle to win a Sonos Beam. It was a blast!
Victoria Suha (EE’17) founded NUSound in 2014 and her goal was to create a community for people interested in music and acoustics at NEU. Victoria completed four co-ops at companies such as Bose and Samsung where she focused most of her industry experience in acoustics. After graduating from NEU, she moved to LA to continue working at Samsung as an Acoustic Research Engineer. Last year, Victoria decided that her heart was in Beantown and she moved back to Boston. Now she works at Sonos as an Audio Characterization Engineer. At Sonos, Victoria is working on hardware product development and how to make Sonos products sound great! When she is not working, Victoria plays the viola and otamatone and she is always planning her next food adventure.
FYI: Sonos is interested in May 2020 grads who ideally have an EE background! They’re looking for a Radio Systems Engineer and a Digital Electric Engineer. If interested email Sonos Talent Acquisition Partner Jess Griffin at jessica.griffin@sonos.com.
